America adopts the President of Iran
U.S. State Department spokesman said that will give visa to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who intends to participate in the UN conference on nuclear non-proliferation.
As the BBC , Ahmadinejad appealed to the U.S. authorities to grant him a visa to attend the conference to be held in New York next week.
Earlier planned that the conference, including where would discuss Iran”s compliance with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, Iranian delegation headed by Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.
However, surprisingly the U.S. State Department officials request the issuance of U.S. visas came directly from the president of the country.
In anticipation of this conference the United States, Britain, France and Germany persuaded Russia and China need to develop a new draft Security Council resolution imposing new sanctions against Iran.
Western countries suspect Iran of seeking to use nuclear technology for nuclear weapons. The Iranian government refuses to stop enriching uranium, but insists that this process is necessary only to produce electricity.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad”s presence at the Conference in New York could theoretically prevent the imposition of new sanctions against Iran, experts say.
Earlier, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that he sees the nuclear threat from this country. “We see it from Iran or by terrorist organizations such as al-Qaeda, trying to get nuclear materials,” – she said.
